In today’s modern society, the commercialisation of the Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) has been so successful that it is very common to see these vehicles travelling on the roads. However, the Internal Combustion Engines (ICEs) in the Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) are dependent on petrol as fuel to operate. In addition, the exhaust gases which are emitted by the Internal Combustion Engines (ICEs) also contribute to the air pollution.
