In New Zealand, rugby has been one of the most popular sports given the high levels of both local and international success. The success has ensured that there is a large portion of the country’s population who are interested in the performance of the rugby teams in the country. This has been shown by the strength of the local rugby league which is more popular than any other sporting leagues in the country.
