Bibliometric analysis of publications of a mechanical engineering school, National University of Singapore.

This dissertation is a bibliometric study of the publications of the academic staff of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DME) at the National University of Singapore. Nine parameters were studied, namely, the literature growth (through the annual publication counts), the average number of authors per paper, the extent of collaboration, the prolific authors, the journals in which the articles were published, the impact factor of the journals, the number of citations received, and the countries with which international collaboration were conducted.Master of Science (Information Systems
