EOS (Singapore earth observatory) is trying to develop a rapidly deployable system to collect data near the volcano crater. Considering the geological factors on the volcano, it is essential that the telemetry of this system should be able to transmit data over 3km distance. This project focuses on how to make such a telemetry system using existing equipment of the shelf while keeps the cost as low as possible. The design of this telemetry should minimize the energy consumption and optimize flexibility of the whole system. Firstly, the report translates the requirements into technical aspects.
