Massive machine type communication (mMTC) is one of the important part of 5G communication network. A huge number of machines, servers and users are connected to each other over the 5G network. Security is of paramount importance of mMTC as without strong confidence in secure connectivity all applications involving mMTC will not be widely accepted. In order to meet the security requirements, 3GPP has introduced a new access authentication and key agreement protocol named 5G-AKA .
