The bearing capacity of spread footing foundation subjected to both vertical and horizontal loads can be estimated using bearing capacity factors, together with load inclination factor and eccentricity effect. However, different versions of bearing capacity and load inclination factor have been proposed. Four proposed bearing capacity versions will be discussed in this project, they are Meyerhof’s version, Hansen’s version, Vesic’s version and Eurocode 7 version.
