The scope of the project is to study the Ku-‐band receiver system and the correlation between rainfall and temperature attenuation to the Ku-‐band satellite signal. With the equipment used to obtain the data for the rain, temperature, wind and the signal and being processed by Matlab and being used to analyze the data being collected. This report explains the hardware and software aspects of the Ku-‐band beacon receiver systems and the rain gauge network. Lastly, this report will include the analysis between temperature rate and signal strength for the Ku frequency bands on days of rain events and the results.Bachelor of Engineerin
