As the electricity tariffs increase over the year, energy efficient appliances like air-conditioners, refrigerators, clothes dryers, televisions and lamps have become very popular as they could help to save on household energy consumption. On the other hand, it is importance to ensure that the household appliance is safe to be use. Therefore, this project aims to design and develop a web portal for household appliances on energy efficiency and safety testing. It allows the test laboratory to make use of this platform to train their employee and the public to understand the how the energy and electrical safety test were carried out to ensure the safety of the household appliances.
