There is an increasing focus on last mile distribution due to increasing urbanisation and growth in e-commerce industry. However, last mile distribution, or urban freight movement, has been much overlooked in academic literature and urban plans. The aim of this paper is to investigate how the last mile distribution challenge can be overcame and becoming more efficient.
