The 4th generation (4G) Long Term Evolution (LTE) network is an Internet-Protocol-based network. The 3rd Generation Partnership Projects (3GPP) defines the LTE network, on the basis of Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS). [1] It provides a faster and more secure network for end users in a variety of services. To access the multimedia services, the users need to authenticate two steps both in the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) layer and LTE network layer. Authentication and Key Agreement (AKA) protocol are utilized on both of the layers.
