The primary aim of this research project is to investigate the use of multirate sampling in sampled-data control of Finite-Dimensional Linear Time-Invariant (FDLTI) Systems and eventually develop multirate controllers which can be used in industrial applications. It is hoped that the research work can serve to encourage the use of and give better insight into multirate control systems and controllers for industrial applications.RP 52/9
