A detailed study of a rectenna is conducted in this report. Comparisons of a few earlier designs of rectenna are presented. Furthermore, a various type of antennas and its important parameters are studied as well to determine the suitable option for the wide band frequency. A house-shaped wide band antenna is chosen to be studied in depth and simulated with the HFSS software due to its operating frequency range of 800 MHz to 2100 MHz.Bachelor of Engineerin
