As technology advances, the rise in electronic products such as mobile phone, tablets and other handheld devices has caused an increase in the demand for liquid crystal displays. Such devices are becoming relatively smaller size but the requirement for the display drivers to drive the smaller area display has increase and it is vital for it to work in a low power environment, along with some sense of scalability in the design.
