Being one of the most important chemicals, ammonia is produced in massive quantities for use in many industries. The conventional ammonia synthesis process has a significant negative impact on the environment. Therefore, considering the global climate change and the depletion of fossil fuels, it is crucial to develop a sustainable method of ammonia synthesis with minimised, or even zero carbon emissions.
