Optimal location queries on road networks

Optimal location queries are queries that deals with finding the best location. It is useful in strategic planning, such as finding a location for setting up a new retail facility. The scholarly paper entitled “Optimal Location Queries in Road Network Databases” presents novel techniques in computing three variants of optimal location queries. It also proposes a unified framework that addresses these queries efficiently.
