El viñedo ubicado en las dunas litorales del Sur de Gascuña (Francia, Landes) constituye un objeto pertinente para reflexionar en las relaciones que unen un viñedo con los demás elementos del ecosistema y del paisaje humanizado de los cuales forma parte. Situado en un medio extremo, este viñedo permite pensar en la construcción de los paisajes vitivinícolas como pocos. Ubicado en un lugar cuyas utilizaciones y representaciones sociales cambiaron varias veces, el viñedo de arenas autoriza también ricas reflexiones sobre la valorización de un territorio.
