After a Higgs boson with a mass near 125 GeV has been discovered, it is still unclear whether this is the Higgs boson predicted by the Standard Model (SM) or part of an extended Higgs sector, which is expected in various beyond-the-SM (BSM) models such as the minimal supersymmetric extension (MSSM) of the SM. Direct searches for additional Higgs bosons are a promising way to answer this question. Recent results of a search at CMS for heavy neutral Higgs bosons decaying to b quarks, which is the dominant decay channel in large parts of the MSSM paramater space, are presented
