The electronic structures of $TiCl_4$ and $TiCl_6^2^—$ are investigated on the basis of CNDO procedure. Average energies of electronic configurations of atoms are tised to evaluate local core hamiltonian integrals and the Slater exponents which reproduce one-center repulsion integrals. Quite good agreement has been obtained in the interpretation of the experimental data as the $TiCl_4$ photoelectron spectrum and the optical spectra of examined systems
