The history of the State School of Second degree Doctor Dario Pscheco Pedroso: Its origin, social inclusion and impact on the career of students (1970 - 1994)

This study aims to study the Secondary School of Doctor Dario Pacheco Pedroso, created in 1970 in Taquarivaí, then Itapeva district, São Paulo and incorporated in 1994 to the State Center of Technological Education Paula Souza. This object is analyzed from the historical trajectory of agricultural education in Brazil, from the Municipality, where the school was installed and from the school itself, aiming to understand its administrative organization and the pedagogical proposal developed by the institution. The results show that agricultural education underwent changes, according to educational policies, elaborated according to the demands of each historical context. It was during the period of the military civil dictatorship in Brazil, in the scenario of conservative modernization, that the institution analyzed here was created. The implementation of technical courses in agriculture contributed to the formation of skilled labor in the Taquarivai region, enabling its development and participation in the process of agricultural expansion in the state of São Paulo, as well as influencing the professional growth of students graduatesNão recebi financiamentoEste trabalho tem como objetivo estudar a Escola Estadual de Segundo Grau Doutor Dario Pacheco Pedroso, criada em 1970, em Taquarivaí, então distrito de Itapeva, São Paulo e incorporada, em 1994, ao Centro Estadual de Educação Tecnológica Paula Souza. Tal objeto é analisado a partir da abordagem da trajetória histórica do ensino agrícola no Brasil, do Município, onde a escola foi instalada e da própria escola, visando compreender a sua organização administrativa e a proposta pedagógica desenvolvida pela instituição. Os resultados obtidos mostram que o ensino agrícola passou por mudanças, de acordo com as políticas educacionais, elaboradas de acordo com as demandas de cada contexto histórico. Foi no período da ditadura civil militar no Brasil, no cenário da modernização conservadora, que foi criada a instituição aqui analisada. A implantação dos cursos técnicos em agropecuária contribuiu para a formação de mão de obra qualificada na região de Taquarivai, possibilitando o seu desenvolvimento e a sua participação no processo de expansão agrícola no estado de São Paulo, além de ter exercido influência na ascensão profissional dos alunos egressos
