Saberes da vida na noite : percepções de mulheres que prestam serviços sexuais sobre o educar-se nas relações com seus clientes.

This study had as objective to identify educational processes those are established in the relationship between prostitutes and their clients, and hat is stating point on the perception that those women has about the process. The dialog concept, writing by Paulo Freire orientated the way of collect and interpret the data on this study. These data was collected through three interviews made with seven prostitutes at nightclubs in São Carlos/SP. The analysis of the data discloses that, as well as in other social practical, in their relationship, prostitutes and their clients learn and teach each other. Some abilities as learning how to look at, to hear, to talk, to advice and to be humble are required from those women to broaden the understanding of their reality, not only at the nightclubs, but in all their lives.Universidade Federal de Minas GeraisEsta pesquisa teve como objetivo identificar processos educativos que se desenvolvem nas relações estabelecidas entre prostitutas e clientes, tendo como ponto de partida a percepção dessas mulheres sobre tais processos. O conceito de dialogicidade, postulado por Paulo Freire, foi empregado como fio condutor na orientação do percurso metodológico traçado no sentido de coletar e interpretar os dados desta investigação. Os materiais analisados foram obtidos por meio da realização de três entrevistas, das quais participaram sete mulheres que prestam serviços sexuais em casas noturnas de São Carlos/SP. A análise dos dados revela que, assim como em outras práticas sociais, no exercício da prostituição, ao se relacionarem, prostitutas e clientes aprendem e ensinam uns com os outros. Algumas habilidades como aprender a olhar, ouvir, conversar, aconselhar e ter humildade, dentre outras, são utilizadas por essas mulheres como recursos para ampliar a compreensão de sua realidade, não apenas no ambiente das casas noturnas, mas em outras esferas de sua vida
