Flow pattern observations and critical flooding velocity for various Reynolds numbers in annular counter current flow in vertical pipe have been conducted. Visual observations and the onset of flooding at liquid flow rate 2.90 (10.-5) - 20.13 {10.-5)m³/s. Air was injected from the bottom of the colum and water was coming in the top of the colum. Flow pattern was recorded with digital camera, and critical velocity of flooding was measured with flowmeter. The experimental results consist of the flow pattern, churn flow, plug flow, annular flow and single wave. A single wave that move vertically up also occurs at critical velocity.
