PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM BAGINASABAHTERHADAP PENYALAHGUNANDANANASABAHPADAPERBANKAN DI INDONESIA (STUDI KASUSPADABANKCENTURY)

In the banking, the customer is a very important element, because life and death depends on customer confidence in banking. If banking in Indonesia keep on to trouble, did not rule if the trust of the public or customers to save money in the bank will be on the wane. With many banking case in Indonesia, one of which is the case of Century Bank, therp is potentially such a big disadvantage customers, it needs to be studied concerning the legal protection provided by regulation in Indonesia for customers against the abuse of customer funds. The research is a juridical normative research, that cover research in principles, definitions, and law regulations. The author has done literature research to collect secondary data that contents of primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The data gathered from the research was analyzed using aform of qualitative method tofind systematic and overall description. The result shows that, it is known that the regulation in Indonesia, which governs the legal protection for many customer have been issued by the government and the normative is enough to give legal protection to customers. However, in terms of implementing these regulations in the case of Century Bank is not able to provide legalprotection for customers of Century Bank of the abuse of customer funds
