Education for sustainable development brings high value (wisdom) because it teaches morality to human beings as actors in their environment to always be careful and wise in even) activity that uses natural resources. . The use of natura~ resources for the development is not only to meet short-term economic needstherefore it is necessary to establish management strategies that ensure sustainability, fairness, and effidenCl). Efforts to achieve these strategies are mediated by debriefing people with environment ethical values which in this case implemented in the children education. Education for sustainable development for young generation asfuture development assets should be prioritized. This study aimed to rediscover and develop learning innovation that can bring sustainability messages to the resource values, environmental, social and cultural. In accordance with the competency of sociohumanity discipline, this study is more focused on the contribution of social-culture values, especially in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta to become messages delivery media of sustainable development. This research is conducted at the basic education level. Data collection is obtained through focus group discussion (FGD), textbooks content and school curriculum analysis, field observations by sitting in the classroom, and student track behavior. The data then analyzed with descriptive-qualitative method. The results of this research explain some things, namely (1) developing sustainable development paradigmatic learning innovation mt.~.t comply with the talents of students, which can be done by developing KTSP (curriculum of unit-level education) with the use of CTL (contextual teaching and learning) learning method, (2) socio-cultural values conservation become the basis to achieve sustainable development paradigm, (3) innoyation towards sustainable development paradigm vary for each school background.
