Keberagarnan persepsi konsumen tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa variabel, di antaranya kategori produk, tujuan membeli produk, diskon yang diharapkan konsumen, merek produk dari perusahaan penghasil produk. Selain variabel tersebut, keberagaman persepsi konsumen juga dipengaruhi perbedaan segmen konsumen, seperli unzur, gender, tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, don penghasilanr.
