Pergeseran Model Development State Jepang: Implikasi Dari Krisis Ekonomi = The Shift of Japanese Developmental State Model: Implication of Economic Crisis

The research of this study stresses on the shift of Japan developmental state model as the implication of government\u27s reformation ways in economic and politics to buckle the economic crisis. The shift has caused transformation and identity of the Japanese economic development and it is more to the economic developmental model of the United States and other developed industrial countries, that is regulatory state model (regulator state). Developmental state model with the characteristics of how large the government rulers in economic development key making mercantilist-protectionist policy in 1960s was significantly different from that of 1990s. Government roles in Japan\u27s experience a spread of polarization relation and diffuse into new hexagon by involving non government groups in the process of government poky decision making furthermore, the &overnment protectiorust policy with embedded mercantilism characteristic changes into a more liberal disembedded mercantilism. The shift is mainly resulted by internal factor, that is because the economic crisis has made the internal stressing stronger than before (naiatsu) and that government will make economic and political reformation at last. Japan economic crisis itself is regarded to be the consequence of the state domestic factors like the failure or government mismanaging policy or capitalism practices (moral hazard), such as amakudari and financial scandal. Japan\u27s economic crisis is later followed with the effort of Japanese government adopting strategy sequences to handle the crisis as the response or reactions of Japanesegovernment toward the problem. The government\u27s economic recovering effort is done by making deregulation policy and economic political liberalization which then implicate to the orientation changing and Japanese economic development state model that used to orient to the market power.
