The high case of caries in Indonesia is partly caused by the lack of fluor usage in teeth care. A dental nurse has responsibility in reducing caries due to their capability in promoting and preventing caries. Implementation of fluor, however, depends the length of duty and the treatment of dental nurse including their knowledge, attitude and implementation. Therefore, the study on relationship among those factors and the action of fluor usage should be done. The study on relationship between sociodemographic factors and the treatment of dental nurse in implementing of the fluor to prevent caries was carried out from September to October 2003.
