Pengaruh campuran GA3-Auksin terhadap pertumbuhan tunas stek batang bambu petung dan tutul

To find qualified bamboo seedling from internodial cutting of 3-years Dendrocalamus asper and Bambusa vulgaris the experiment was conducted. To stimulate the growth of the seedling a mixture of IAA and GA3 was treated. The mixture of the growth stimulator was injected inside the internode of the cuttings and then planted horizontally. . The treated internodial cuttings developed shoots and roots but slight differences were shown among the cuttings, the concentration of the stimulator mixtures and the species of the bamboos. The better production of shoots and roots showed by the basal and median cuttings of the both bamboo species, rather than the apical cuttings. Concentration of 100 ppm of growth mixture stimulated better the shoot and root of D. asper, but reduced the growth at the rate of 150 ppm. On the other hand cutting of B. vulgaris showed negative respons to the growth stimulator treatment.
