The characteristic of expansive soil, especially swelling and shrinkage, may affect its bearing capacity, which has to be concerned in the field of civil engineering construction. So, we have to understand real bearing capacity of the expansive soil. The experiment is aimed at finding information about bearing capacity of expansive soil. The experiment was carried on through a model test. The result of this model is sets of data of settlement, index properties, and shear as the sample is loaded.
