Promosi Kesehatan Metode Konseling Kelompok Dan Curah Pendapat Dalam Meningkatkan Pengetahuan, Sikap Dan Perilaku Pemberantasan Dbd Dl Puskesmas Sidokerto Kabupaten Magetan

ABSTRACT The incidence rate of Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in 100.000 people of Indonesia for 5 years had increased. The greatest number reported in 1998. There were 35.19 in 100.000 people, last incidence rate of fluktuatif decreased and increased. DHF is fearfully, because the prognose is fast. The transmission of the disease may be prevented by control of vectors. The improvement of knowledge, attitude and behavior society may control of DHF. This study was aimed to know the difference between group counseling method and brainstorming method. Both health promotion methods were used to improve knowledge, attitude, and behavior society about control of DHF. This study was a quasi experimental design and used non-equivalent control group design with pretest and posttest. The research subjects are 60 headfamilies in Milangasri village. They got health promotion with group counseling method. And the others subjects are 60 headfamilies in Wates village. They got health promotion used brainstorming method. The result of t-test analisis showed that: (1) health promotion group counseling method and brainstorming method were could to improved headfamily knowledge about control of DHF, but group counseling method had higher value than brainstorming method, (2). Both health promotion methods could be to improved headfamily attitude to control of DHF, but group counseling method had higher value than brain-storming method, (3). Both health promotion methods could be to improved headfamily behavior to control of DHF, but group counseling method had higher value than brainstorming method.
