ABSTRAK The increase of space temperature mostly caused by roofs. Roof material made of concrete may deliver heat up to 53°C during the day, higher than air temperature which is 33 °C. The effort of decreasing temperature through giving layer with slant platform only reduces the heat about 8 °C. Using layer material made of wooden sawdust and straw, the temperature on the lower surface can be decreased up to 10 °C. The layer thickness between 3 cm till 7 cm does not show the real decrease of roof radiation , which is about 2 °C.
