ABSTRACTThe objective of this research is to find-out: 1) the comparisons of social worker\u27s performance scale between the scale according to Kepmenpan No.45/Menpan/ 1988, equal - appearing intervals method, and successive intervals method2) the scale difference based on the judgement by both local and central social workers3) factors underlying the social worker\u27s performanceand, 4) the barrier factors to obtain the credit points of performance.This research involved 100 social workers, consisted of 50 local social workers and 50 central social workers.
