ABSTRACT The objectives of this research were to obtain the visualization of the flow, pressure drop, andempirical equation of pressure drop at each flow pattern, gas slug velocity, and flow pattern map. The test was conducted at constant liquid velocity and variable gas velocity, at constant gas velocity and variable liquid velocity, and at constant velocity of both liquid and gas flow (changing simultaneously) conditions. The research was conducted by using a transparant pipe (plexiglass) with the diameter of 24 mm, and air and water liquid as working fluid The flow pattern was observed at liquid velocity of 0,14 m/s to 1,40 m/s, and air velocity of 0,114 m/s to 2,680 m/s.
