An investigation to the steam generating plant in Madukismo sugar cane factory has been performed to determine the cost of product. This activity was carried out by collecting field data of sugar cane factory and the data was used as operation parameter data of initial configuration. Further investigation was performed for several proposed configuration, in which case changes of operation parameter such as steam pressure and structural interconnection mass balance, energy balance, exergy balance, and cost balance were taken into account.
