The objective of the research is to find the influences of sand moulds to physical and mechanical properties of grey cast iron (FC-2 5). The properties are the microstructure, tensile strength, toughness and hardness. The types of mould used in this research were made of wet sand, dry sand, cement sand and CO2 process sand. Refer to lab test result, the types of sand mould in casting have influences on their product in physical and mechanical properties of grey cast iron (FC-25).
