Organometal halide perovskites for solar cells are hybrid semiconductors that recently have caught the attention of the scientific community due to its excellent performance and attractive optical properties. Since then, they have been used in solar cells, LEDs, and lasers, although the mechanisms by which such good performances are obtained are not known completely. This dissertation presents a study of the optical characteristics of perovskites for thin-film solar cells. Due to their small thickness, the morphology of the layer is sensitive to manufacturing parameters. In this way, the manufacturing process is optimized, trying to improve its characteristics.
