El perfil de la mujer emprendedora en la microempresa en el subsector alimentos

Business activity has shown fundamental changes compared with women's micro-enterprises entrepreneurship due to their importance in the economy. This doctoral thesis come up from the particular interest to investigate topics related to women and their business activity, as a result of professional experience ,which motivate myself to star this research with the main objective to identify the women's personal characteristics, their fam ily relationships , as well as motivation and skills applied to technology, administration, organization, finance, marketing, human resources, tax and legal obligations, using these factors to start a successful microenterprise in food and beverage sub-sector . The research question is: Which are the characteristics , abilities or skills that lead women to start a successful microenterprise in the food and beverage sub-sector? The study is focused on the city Toluca , State of Mexico, especially in the food and beverage sales sub-sector. These are the activities that women prefer to do, because of the possibility of making compatible domestic and familiar work, with money and professional issues, and also, to have freedom and a flexible schedule, generally with low risk, the minimum capital investment and slow growth. From a Bibliometric Analysis and the State of the Art, were determined the variables that answer the "Gathner's Model" objectives, starting from the theoretical framework , which is based on the Behavioral Management School that was used to analyze the fema le entrepreneurship, to identify, describe and explain the womens entrepreneurs behavior, creating the questionnaire that integrales questions related to female entrepreneurship, identifying sociodemograph in aspects, character istics , skills and entrepreneurs' motivations , as well as a successful or unsuccessful entrepreneurship, obtaining the information in six months . The research method is the Transversal Type , using Quantitative Methodology and the Deductive Method. The research design is based on the Multivariate Model for Discrimination Methods, which allowed the desirable profile to create a successful microenterprise in the food and beverage sales sub-sector, making an importan! contribution in this Doctoral Thes is , helping the curren! literature development by the em pirical women 's entrepreneurship work, being the key to guarantee the microenterprises success due to its economic and social importance, pretending to be the first step to contribute to the topic's improvements and to continue with future research'sLa actividad empresarial ha presentado cambios fundamentales con respecto al emprendimiento de microempresas de mujeres debido a la importancia que representan en la economía. Esta tesis doctoral surge por el interés de investigar el tema de género y la actividad empresarial, fruto de la experiencia profesional, lo que me motivó a realizar esta investigación. Teniendo como objetivo identificar las características personales de las mujeres, relaciones familiares, así como la motivación y habilidades aplicadas a la tecnologia, administración, organización, las finanzas, mercadotecnia, recursos humanos, obligaciones fiscales y legales, conocimientos mínimos para emprender una microempresa exitosa en el subsector de venta de alimentos y bebidas. La pregunta de investigación es ¿Cuáles son las características, habilidades o motivos, que llevan a la mujer a emprender una microempresa exitosa en el subsector de alimentos y bebidas? El estudio se centra en el Municipio de Toluca, Estado de México, especialmente en el subsector de venta de alimentos y bebidas, actividades que las mujeres prefieren, por la posibilidad de hacer compatibles el trabajo doméstico y la generación de ingresos, asi como la independencia y la flexibilidad en et horario, generalmente de bajo riesgo, menor inversión de capital y crecimiento lento. A partir de un análisis bibtiométrico y de la revisión del Estado de M e se pudieron determinar las variables que respondieron a los objetivos del modelo de Gathner que parten del marco teórico el cual, se fundamenta en la Escuela Comportamental que sirvió para analizar el emprendimiento femenino, debido a que identifica, describe y explica los comportamientos de las empresarias, lo que permitió elaborar el cuestionario en donde se integran preguntas relacionadas con emprendimiento femenino, identificando aspectos sociodemográficos , características, habilidades y motivaciones de las empresarias, así como el emprendimiento exitoso o no exitoso y posesión de la microempresa, obteniendo la información en un periodo de seis meses , el método de investigación es de tipo transversal, utilizando metodología cuantitativa y el método deductivo. El diseño de la investigación se se basa en el modelo multivariante discriminante lo que permitió determinar el perfil deseable para emprender una microempresa exitosa en el subsector de venta de alimentos y bebidas, siendo una aportación importante en este trabajo doctoral, contribuyendo a enriquecer la literatura existente de los trabajos emplricos de la actividad emprendedora de las mujeres, siendo clave para asegurar el éxito en la microempresa por su trascendencia económica y social, pretendiendo ser un primer paso para contribuir al conocimiento del tema y para la realización de futuras investigacione
