1106-1110Decomposition of N2O has been carried out on La2CuO4 prepared from component (i) oxides and (ii) oxalates, The reaction has been studied at two different initial pressures of N2O namely 50 and 200 torr in the temperature range of 390-490°C. The observed changes in kinetics and activity have been explained on the basis of amount of copper on the surface by XPS and non-stoichiometry of the compounds
