785-787The epoxidation of cyclohexene gives cyclohexene oxide, cyclohexenol and cyclohexenone as the products. The addition of pyridine as axial ligand promotes the yield. The addition of SLS increases the epoxide yield while addition of Triton-X-100 and CTABr retards the yield. The relative rates of cycloolefin follow the order norbornene > cycloheptene > cyclohexene suggesting that olefin is not coordinated to metal center in the rate determining step
