Convenient method for synthesis of chiral <em>C</em>₁-symmetric pyrrolidine derivative

897-899Pyrrolidine derivatives are saturated N-heterocyclic compounds widely present in a large number of natural products, alkaloids and biologically active compounds. In this article, is reported the facile synthesis of chiral C1-symmetric (S)-2-(anthracen-10-yl)-1-((R)-1-phenylethyl)pyrrolidine and (R)-2-(anthracen-10-yl)-1-((S)-1-phenylethyl)pyrrolidine diastereomers. These pyrrolidine derivatives are extremely useful for asymmetric transformations and enantioselective synthesis of chiral allenes
