230-234Coadsorption of o-hydroxybenzoic aci with o-methoxybenzoic acid and/or o-aminobenzoic acid at the mercury/0.1 M Na2SO4 solution interf ce has been studied using a capillary electrometer. Thermodynamic parameters, such as surface charge density (qM), surface excess of the organic molecule adsorbed (Гorg) and coverage (θ) have been evaluate. It is observed from the adsorption data that coadsorption takes place by the partial replacement of ready adsorbed organic compound on the metal surface and the adsorption of both the compounds is found to take place over a wide range of potentials
