145-154Distribution of inorganic phosphate (PO3-4-P) in the Arabian Sea during the south-west monsoon season is presented through several vertical sections and spatial distribution charts. The concentration of inorganic phosphate has been found to be closely associated with the field of motion. These studies have shown that the concentration of PO3-4-P increases to the north at intermediate levels
