300-302Seasonal variations in the concentrations of dissolved oxygen and reactive nitrite, nitrate, phosphorus and silicate at different light depths (100, 10 and 1%) at a selected station in the Arabian Sea off Cochin have been studied. Low values of dissolved oxygen are recorded at all the 3 light depths from November to February (1972). Fairly high concentration of reactive phosphorus is encountered at all the depths. Nitrite shows greater reduction towards 1% light depth. Reactive nitrate shows wider fluctuations. Except for a few instances, reactive silicate shows no significant variation
