While adults dominated the catches during premonsoon, juveniles were abundant during postmonsoon season. Among the polychaetes, Dendronereis arborifera and Sabellaria cementarium were dominant; December to January being favourable. Bivalves dominated at stations having sediment with medium, fine and very fine fractions.
