289-292The differential energy spectra of accelerated solar nuclei of O, Ne, Mg and Si were measured in the energy interval of 4-16 meV/amu in a rocket flight frim Ft. Churcill, Canada at 1520 hrs UT on 25 Jan. 1971 during the large solar particle event. The relative abundances of O, Ne, Mg and Si nuclei were determined to be 100 22± 4: 16±3:9±2 respectively in the 4-16 meV/amu, interval. From the results of this work and those of others at energies greater than 15 meV/amu, it is found that at low energies the Ne/O ration is enhanced by a factor of about 2 compared to its value at high energies, whereas Mg and Si abundances are enhanced by a factor about 4. Possible implications are discussed
