91-95Point discharge current (PDq measurements are made at two places, viz. one at controlled and comparatively clean area far away from pollution sources and the other at a place very close to a large pollution source near Nagpur. These measurements are compared in the light of possible effects of the pollution load coming from the source, on the general behaviour of the PDC. It has been observed that the general level as well as the amplitude of fluctuations of the PDC at the place near the pollution source are about five times higher than that observed at the clean area
