94-97Oblique incidence absorption has been estimated from the vertical incidence absorption at the same frequency and also at the equivalent frequency. In the former case the experimental values at oblique incidence are much lower than those obtained using the vertical incidence results, whereas, in the latter case the experimental values at oblique incidence are higher than those calculated from the vertical incidence results using Martyn's equivalent frequency absorption theorem. The results have been discussed
