519-524Solar wind velocities can be estimated from high signal-to-noise interplanetary scintillation spectra obtained from a single radio telescope. The magnitudes of the velocity estimates correlate well with 3-station measurements. This is a convenient method to study many large scale interplanetary phenomena in and out of the ecliptic and over a large range of heliocentric distances
