The fluxes of electrons precipitating into lower ionosphere, as a consequence of pitch angle diffusion and energy associated with them, have been computed and their variations with the electrostatic wave amplitudes have been studied. Both the frequency and the amplitude of electrostatic spectrum are found to control the pitch angle diffusion and consequent precipitation of electrons through the loss cone.
