Azo Dyes with 4-Quinazolinone Ring for Dyeing Nylon, Wool, Cotton and Viscose Rayon Fibres

13-16<span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%; font-family:" calibri","sans-serif";mso-ascii-theme-font:minor-latin;mso-fareast-font-family:="" "times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-theme-font:minor-fareast;mso-hansi-theme-font:="" minor-latin;mso-bidi-font-family:"times="" roman";mso-ansi-language:en-us;="" mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="">Eighteen 6-nitro-3-(p-and m-arylazophenyl)- 2-methyl-4-quinazolinone dyes were prepared and their dyeing performance on nylon and wool fibres as acid dyes and on cotton and viscose rayon fibres as direct dyes was assessed. Some of the dyes showed all round good fastness properties.
