This paper presents an experimental design approach to optimizing the input process parameter of flux cored arc welding (FCAW) of 2205 duplex stainless steel butt weld. FCAW input process parameters such as welding current, welding speed and open circuit voltage are taken as an important parameter to determine the quality of weld. The experiment is conducted based on three factors and five levels of central composite rotatable design with full replication technique.
